Troubleshooting Common Issues
Printer Not Printing
- Check Connection: Is the USB cable securely connected?
- Check Paper: Is the paper roll empty or jammed?
- Test in Windows: Open "Printers & Scanners" in Windows settings, click your printer, and select "Print Test Page". If this doesn't work, it's a driver or hardware issue, not a POS issue.
- Check Selection: Ensure the correct printer is selected in HungryBee > Settings.
Application Application Won't Open
- Already Running: Check the system tray (bottom right, near clock) to see if HungryBee is already minimized.
- Antivirus: Sometimes antivirus software blocks the app. Provide an exception/exclusion
for
HungryBee POS.exe. - Restart PC: A simple restart often fixes background process gitches.
Items Not Deducting from Inventory
- Check Recipe: Go to the Product edit screen and ensure "Track Inventory" is enabled and ingredients are mapped.
- Check Stock: Ensure you have sufficient stock of the ingredients.
Data Sync Issues
If you perform a "Backup" or see sync errors:
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection if using cloud backup features.
- Check if firewall settings are blocking outbound connections.
