Table Management
HungryBee provides a visual interface for managing your restaurant's floor plan, tracking table status, and organizing seating.
Floor View
When you navigate to the Tables section, you see a grid representation of your restaurant floor. Tables are color-coded by status:
- Green / Empty: Table is available.
- Orange / Running: Table has an active order (KOT printed, but not billed).
- Red / Billed: Bill has been generated, awaiting payment.
Adding & Configuring Tables
- In the Tables view, click Manage Floor or Edit Mode.
- Click Add Table.
- Enter a Table Number or Name (e.g., T1, Patio-1).
- Set the Capacity (e.g., 4 Pax).
- Save.
Assigning Orders to Tables
There are two ways to start a table order:
- From Floor Plan: Click on an available table -> Select "Start Order" -> You'll be taken to the Billing screen with that table pre-selected.
- From Billing Screen: Select "Dine-in" -> Click the "Table" button -> Choose a table from the list.
Merging & Moving Tables
Feature availabililty depends on your specific HungryBee version.
If guests move from T1 to T5, simply use the "Swap/Move" function in the table options to transfer the running order to the new table.
